Auroville is not a finished model to be replicated. It is a living inquiry — into consciousness, society, governance, ecology, and the future of human unity. Research within AWARE exists to listen to this experiment, study it honestly, and articulate what is emerging — without reducing it to slogans or abstractions. This is not research about Auroville from a distance. It is research from within — grounded in lived participation, long-term observation, and reflective synthesis.
Research here is not academic accumulation. It is sense-making in service of the City and the Future of the World.
Auroville Centre for Strategy & Communication
A residency and fellowship programme inviting researchers, practitioners, and thinkers to engage deeply with Auroville’s realities. Fellows work alongside Aurovilians, producing policy briefs, case studies, frameworks, and reflective documentation that serve both the City and the wider world.
Auroville Global Exchange Platform
A space for dialogue between Auroville and global institutions, universities, think tanks, and movements. The Exchange enables mutual learning — allowing Auroville’s experience to inform global discourse, while remaining rooted in its own integrity.

Exploring Auroville’s relevance to global cultural, educational, and civilisational questions. This collaboration seeks to position Auroville not as a curiosity, but as a serious living contribution to humanity’s future.
